PIKO at the Garden Railway Convention
in San Francisco

This year, the 22nd Garden Railway Convention was held in Santa Clara, Silicon Valley, south of San Francisco.

PIKO was represented at the booth of our US importer, LGB of America.

All the renowned G-scale companies and a considerable number of US retailers presented everything an enthusiastic G-scaler can think of.

One annual highlight is the opportunity for all the Railway Convention participants to visit and marvel at different garden layouts designed by members of the hosting garden railway club. As part of one of these trips to a garden layout, garden railroaders enjoy talking about possibilities and solutions for the creation of a garden railway layout. There are fantastic and complex layouts, but also simpler ones that encourage interested people to start a garden railway layout themselves.

The 23rd Garden Railway Convention in 2007 will be held in Las Vegas from June 27 to 30. We are already looking forward to the show and wish the Las Vegas club members good luck and fun preparing the event. Thank you in advance!

We were very pleased to see so many PIKO G-scale model structures on the layouts. In this case, the Falls Front Building was staged for an Independence Day parade.
