PIKO at the LGB Festival in Nuremberg

From July 14 to 16, a major event for all garden railway fans took place in Nuremberg on the Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk premises: LGB’s 50th anniversary was celebrated!

It was a great event! The visitors had the opportunity to see the whole factory, to enjoy Franconian cuisine, and to purchase special models and phase-out models at an inexpensive price. They could also buy all regular LGB products at the exhibition which was organized by the toy trade organization Vedes.

It was a great honor for E. P. Lehmann partner PIKO to be the only manufacturer of G-scale model buildings to be allowed to exhibit their products on the factory premises. PIKO was also mentioned as partner in LGB’s advertising brochure.

PIKO’s well-known “exhibiton team”, namely Martina Matthäi, Melanie Huss, and Bernd Pöschl, were there for the PIKO model building fans and ready to answer all kinds of questions.

More than 40,000 visitors were attracted by the event that was accompanied by bright sunshine.

The whole PIKO team, the management, and all employees, want to thank LGB: First of all for the organization of this wonderful event for LGB fans and many people who became interested in the hobby “Gartenbahn”. Thanks also for the superb location LGB chose to exhibit PIKO G-scale models.

The LGB staff involved in the preparation of the festival did a wonderful and very professional job. Again a big thankyou to Nuremberg from Sonneberg!
