26.04.2024 Small locomotive on a big journey - The PIKO steam locomotive class 62 on the road in the Fürth Miniature Worlds
In May 2024, the time has finally come: the class 62 from PIKO, which model railway fans have been longing for, will be available in specialist shops. Before the time comes, one of the first machines has already been allowed to go on a journey - its destination: the Fürth Miniature Worlds in the Odenwald. On 12 April, PIKO Product Manager Matthias Fröhlich met with the model railway team on site, who were delighted with the visit from Sonneberg.
At the same time, Dr René F. Wilfer, Managing Partner of PIKO Spielwaren GmbH, proudly presented the PIKO 62 series in front of the PIKO factory in Chashan, China.
We would like to thank the team at Fürther Miniaturwelten and the owner of the layout, Mr Schumacher, for the opportunity to present our class 62 in this setting and wish all PIKO friends lots of fun with the model!
