PIKO bids farewell to long-standing employees – Thanks for decades of loyalty

Sonneberg – In a small ceremony, PIKO Spielwaren GmbH bid farewell to several long-standing employees as they entered retirement. Together with shareholder Dr. Wilfer, the management paid tribute to their decades of dedication at the Sonneberg site.

Many of the departing employees have accompanied the company’s development for decades – in some cases with roots reaching back to the period before German reunification. Accordingly, the farewell was a very personal one. “These careers represent what PIKO stands for: experience, reliability and a deep connection to our company and the region,” said CEO Rainer Landwehr. “With their departure, we are losing not only skilled professionals, but individuals who have shaped PIKO for many years. They have our utmost respect and sincere gratitude.”

At the same time, PIKO is looking ahead: The company continues to grow and remains an important employer in Sonneberg and southern Thuringia. In order to continue its successful development, new skilled employees are continuously being recruited and hired.
