Be there live: Exclusive rollout of the BR 91.3 in TT scale in Chemnitz

Sonneberg, May 2026 – On May 27, 2026, Schauplatz Eisenbahn in Chemnitz will become the stage for a special highlight in the model railway world: the official rollout of the new BR 91.3 DR in TT scale from PIKO.

Visitors have the exclusive opportunity to experience this event live – together with trade press, specialist retailers and a limited number of guests. In addition, an episode of the popular series “PIKO kurz & kompakt. Fröhlich erklärt.” will be recorded on site.

The event offers an immersive experience centered around technology, model railways and railway history: from the locomotive rollout to a guided tour through the historic railway depot and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights. Each guest will also receive a TT special wagon as a souvenir of this special day.

Tickets are available exclusively in the PIKO webshop, cost €30.00 and can be purchased under the item number “TICKET” until May 20, 2026 at the latest. The number of participants is strictly limited – early booking is recommended.
