Model Railway Premiere in a Unique Setting: PIKO Presents the New BR 119 at the DB Museum Koblenz

Autograph Session in the Cab of the Legendary E19 – Exclusive Commemorative Wagon and Guided Museum Tour Included

Koblenz/Sonneberg. On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, model railway and railway enthusiasts will have the opportunity to attend a truly special event: PIKO will celebrate the premiere of the new H0 scale BR 119 electric locomotive of the German Federal Railway at a venue that could hardly be more fitting – the historic DB Museum Koblenz.

The exclusive rollout event will take place among some of the most significant original vehicles in German railway history. One of the highlights is the legendary E19 on display at the museum, one of Germany’s most famous electric locomotives. Inside its historic driver's cab, visitors can look forward to a program item rarely offered in this form: PIKO CEO Rainer Landwehr will host a personal autograph session directly in the cab of the E19.

In addition to the official presentation of the new BR 119, all participants will enjoy a guided tour of the DB Museum Koblenz, offering fascinating insights into railway history in a place where it remains alive to this day.

Another special highlight is the exclusive H0 commemorative wagon, reserved exclusively for participants of this event and not available through regular retail channels. Soft drinks and coffee are already included in the ticket price.
